From Greg & Debi (Dad & Mom)

We just want to thank you for your comments and the emails sent to the hospital. They are a great source of strength and encouragement for Jeremy and us and the rest of the family here as we wait for Jeremy to wake up and join us again.

  1. I've been wondering about you two. You don't know me (I don't think), but I know how hard it is for the entire family, being through something semi-similar, myself. I know how hard it is as a sibling to be terrified of losing a brother...but mom and dad always have it the hardest. That's your baby boy...and I have special prayers for the two of you. I'm not an expert but because of a mistake my family and I made during our trial, I'd like to just tell you guys to please hold eachother, pray with eachother, don't hold back your emotions because a family together is unbreakable and you need eachother more than anyone else.

Sending lots of love and prayer..

  3. mr. & mrs. doherty,
i feel so helpless. jeremy's always been a "do-er". he knows when to jump into action and be there for the people he loves. if it were one of us in that hospital room, he'd be a soldier.
if there is anything at all you can use me for or need my help with, please let me know. depending on where jeremy's recovery is, i plan to be there in yakima on friday. i don't want to be in the way, but i'd like to see my friend if that's alright with you. please let me know.
    all my love.
    always,
    liz reed

Our hearts are with you and we are constantly sending prayers for Jeremy's healing. We understand the heartache, pain and suffering that your family is going through and wish so much that we could be there with you. May God be with you and give you strength and Jeremy a full recovery. We are here for you any time day or night.

  6. In 2002 my husband was in a very bad motorcycle accident and I was sitting where you are all sitting now. It is very emotional for me to even go there and feel what you are feeling. But God promises us that he is always with us and during that time, I could honestly feel God's arms around all of us and lifting us up and carrying us through. It was truly amazing and hard to explain, but I know he is doing the same for you.

Jeremy knows more than he can tell you, so keep talking to him and holding his hand, that will give him the strength and courage to keep getting better.

The Doctors told us: Even when we take a step backwards, forwards, or sideways, that is how we learn to dance. We just have to keep moving. So as you hear good news, bad news or no change, just remember - you are all learning how to dance. . . . My prayers are with each of you.

  7. Greg and Debi,
I love you two so much. I wish I could be there with you. Be assured that I am praying for you and your entire family. I hope that I will be able to make it out to Yakima soon, but if not, know that I am with you all in spirit.
Tell everyone hi for me and I love you all.
    Love,
    Jessie
