Jeremy slept most of the morning. This afternoon he has been very tired. Sleep has been interrupted by people poking and prodding. He has a slight fever today so they are culturing every fluid that comes out of his body. At one point he had 4 people standing over him doing something.
They closed the cuff last night on his trach. Increased his oxygen to 27%. That cough is still tough.
He just looks like he doesn't feel good today. The rosie on his cheeks and the look in his eyes (the little that they were open) said "mom, I don't feel good".
The occupational therapist talked to us today about "decerebrate posturing". It was his opinion that Jeremy was doing more of that today. We all have good days and bad days. Today was the day to rest. Brother Stephen is coming to town tomorrow and hopefully it will be a better day.
