Response to a question

Do they have an idea of how long they would like to keep him sedated after the swelling and bleeding stop? Or when they can determine that he's sufficiently healed? --Kellie

From what we understand, the sedation is what is keeping his brain pressure down. When they get that under control and the pressure stops jumping around, they slowly back him off of the sedation a bit at a time. They're only giving him as much as he needs. However, the less brain activity the better at this point.
