Today was an interesting day for Jeremy. He had a restful morning, after a not so restful night last night. Physical therapy came this morning and sat him up in his chair before I got there. He was a little agitated by it today, so after an hour, it was back to bed. Then he took about a 4 hour nap, just what he needed.

Yesterday they put the passy-muir valve on his trach. This is another thing that allows his to speak if he should so desire (not yet). He breathes in through the trach and out through his mouth or nose. They will keep it on during the day and take it off at night.

This evening was one for the record books for Jeremy. He received Botox! - In his legs. It sounded funny to me but it will help the muscles in his legs. It relaxes the tone or stiffness in his legs and ankles. It takes about 10 days to work. We will let you know how it goes!
