Jeremy got his feeding tube out today. It took 1 doctor, 2 nurses, about an hour of waiting and analyzing what kind of feeding tube it was. They warned Jeremy it might hurt. They asked him if he want to be sedated or just pull it? Jeremy and I said just pull it. In the end there was a tug and in 2 seconds POP the thing was out. It happened to fast to hurt. Just like the trac tube - no stitches or anything. They just clean the area and put a bandage over it. Body heal thyself. Then they told him to take it easy on the eating today. One more baby step toward recovery.
We meet tomorrow with a group of people to talk about sending him to Elks. Keep that in your prayers. We will keep you posted.
