Update 34

Jeremy's doing about the same, still pretty sedated, still don't know about when they're going to replace his catheter. However, Debi just told me that he opened his eyes for about 60 seconds. It's hard to remember that he's sedated and it probably doesn't mean a whole lot, but that makes us all extra happy for a while! He's going to remain well sedated until they can get the catheter switched out. Hopefully that will happen this afternoon sometime, and then the nurses will work on backing off the sedation a bit at a time.

  1. We are praying that they will be able to get the catheter replaced soon.. . . .I know that everything seems to take forever, but hang in there and remember, you are learning how to dance. That is what the Dr. kept telling us when my husband was recovering after a motorcycle accident. It helps to look at things a little lighter. It all gets pretty heavy during each and every day. Continue to stay strong.
