Update 43

This afternoon Jeremy had another CAT scan. It has been about 24 hours since they removed the tube in his brain. The doctor said he moved around to much to get a clear scan but he could still tell that things had improved. There is always a chance that the brain will not tolerate the tube removal and start retaining fluid again. He was very pleased with the improvement.

He had been "awake" most of the morning, then had the scan, so he was pretty tired and sleepy most of the afternoon. His "awake" time today was not as focused as it has seemed in the past, but his eyes were open and we are happy with that progress. We are still waiting for him to "track" motion and follow instruction. Although we have felt that he has responded to us a couple of times, the Doctors and nurses haven't observed anything like that yet.

Keep Praying
