January 3

Today was a pretty calm day for Jeremy. Stephen and I didn't get to see Jer today because we had to head back home, but Debi, Greg, and Eric were there most of the day. They played a few games--Jeremy's favorite thing to do, pre and post accident! They also did some more exercises and stretches with his arms and legs. We have asked the rehab team what we can do when they're not working with him to help build muscle and gain flexibility. They showed us a few different things we can do and so the family is trying to work in extra exercises throughout Jeremy's day.

Something strange, but not too concerning to the medical staff, happened yesterday afternoon. Debi was taking Jeremy down to dinner and she noticed a little bit of blood coming out of his ear. The staff checked it out with a scope and irrigated it but couldn't really tell where the blood was coming from. They're monitoring it but it doesn't sound like they're too worried about it.

It was so much fun to see Jeremy and I know that he loves hearing from you all. And THANK YOU to Jeremy's co-workers at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District for the photo album. (They each took pictures at their desks for Jeremy.) A few times this weekend, Jeremy had it out and was telling us who everyone was. :) It was nice to have Stephen there with him to help jog Jeremy's memory when he was having trouble. What a great idea! We're planning on making a few more photo albums of more of his friends and family so that he can look at those too.

Blessings to you all!
