September 4

Jeremy seems to be making the most progress under the guidance of the speech therapist. They say a man will do anything for food. She comes with ice cream, Popsicles, lollipops - you get the idea. Yesterday he "followed command", which means "purposeful movement" most of the time. That is very exciting. One of our first goals is to establish some sort of communication with Jeremy. A shake of the head, thumbs up. He does it sometimes but we need more consistency.

We talked to the doctor that did the baclefon pump testing and he said they want to go ahead and implant the pump. However - the doctor that does the surgery is out of the country until Wednesday. They want to do it Thursday. So - we wait until Wednesday so the 2 doctors can talk and see if the surgery schedule will have time also. More wait and see. It's OK - God has this under control. Remember we turned Jeremy's care over to Him a long time ago.

Thank you for you prayers and support!
