December 16

The therapist found a card holder for Jeremy and it is a lot easier to play games with him now. We have been having fun playing UNO. He is pretty good at everything except loosing. When I told him I was out of cards, that I won, he ignored me. If he wins - he understands that. Greg walked in on one of his therapies and they were playing a game during therapy. How fun is that. What they won't do to distract him!!

Jeremy's doing well and continues to work hard! We continue to work on his short term memory, you never know from one day to the next where that might take you. He is starting to ask more and more what year did this happen or that happen? What is the date today? A few day's ago we were talking to him about the accident (again). He asked when it happened. I told him in May. He looked at the date on the wall and said "that was a long time ago." The next day if you ask him why he is here - he doesn't know. We just keep trying!

Thank you for your prayers.

  1. I always look forward to seeing what Jeremy's up to every day. And look how far he has come! Please hug him for me and tell him I pray for him every day and know that even though it may seem as though he still has mountains to climb, he has what it takes to climb them. Merry Christmas to you all. I'm praying for peace, strength, and patience for you all in the new year. Much love, Connie McHutchison

  2. Jeremy,
I miss you! I have made it to DC and moved into my apartment and am settling into my job. My home computer isn't working so I have been very disconnected from the world. I plan to call you this weekend, I hope that's ok! I am so, so proud of you and wish very much that I were closer! Smile for me :)
